Alfred Owusu

Project Coordinator - Ghana

My name is Alfred Kwadwo Owusu, a Ghanaian with a strong background in radio and television transmission, along with a diploma in IT System Engineering and Networking. My education provided me with both theoretical and practical expertise in media technology.

From 2009 to 2020, I worked with Theovision International, a Christian organization dedicated to recording the Bible in various African languages and operating three FM radio stations across Ghana. I served as the technical engineer for all three stations, responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of broadcasting equipment. My work ensured stable transmission and supported the ministry’s goal of reaching communities with the gospel.

In 2009, during my time at Theovision, I was introduced to Reach Beyond (formerly HCJB), one of the key partners involved in supporting the radio stations. In 2020, I officially began volunteering with Reach Beyond’s Sub-Saharan Africa Region as a media engineer through my own company, Bezitech Modern Engineering, which I founded. This partnership has given me the opportunity to use my skills in broadcasting and IT to support media ministry across the region—serving God by using technology to share His Word.

I am married and blessed with two wonderful children. My family continues to be a source of strength and encouragement as I pursue both my professional and ministry-related work.
